Hi all,
I faced a similar situation last week. Had my GMAT exam on 9 July - scored 750. I recieved a mail on 11 July that it's been put on administrative review and on 13 July that the score has been cancelled.
In the mid of the test, I faced an issue with zoom camera as it got switched off suddenly, without me knowing about it since the zoom window is not visible during the test. The proctor called out immediately that she is not able to see me & she paused the test & asked me to rejoin the exam after switching the zoom camera on. I got really nervous, not knowing the reason of this error but I did as she asked me to do & I was back with her in the next 20 to 25 seconds. Before resuming my exam, we again took a look at the 360 degree view of my room & table - since eveything looked okay, she resumed the exam. This error with zoom happened again during the exam, atleast 2-3 times after some intervals. We again repeated the process of pausing the test, switching on the camera, 360 degree room check & resuming the test. The last time it happened, I suggested the proctor to move to a different app that is 'goto meeting', because of the error with the zoom app. With the mutual alignment of MYSELF & the PROCTOR, we switched to 'goto meeting' immediately. As soon as we moved to goto meeting, we never faced any error with the camera again and I finished the test uninterrupted, till the end.
Now they have asked me to write an appeal explaining the situation in detail. I did that last night. Can anybody tell me if they have faced any such situation? Will my original score be reinstated? I'm really worried.
