In general, I advise my clients to generously use the laminate sheets. But to rely on them, you need to both check the pens are working properly and that the invigilators will replace it when full. Check both these at the testing centre BEFORE you start your test.

It's a good idea to write lots of stuff down when working questions -- including for marking eliminated answers and visualization of work problems (in quant). The more you write down and structure on "paper", the greater your ability to focus your mind at each stage of solving a hard question.

Hi abhiwolf,

Before you start your test, take a moment to thoroughly check each marker provided. Scribble a bit on the laminated sheets to ensure they’re flowing smoothly. If you find any that are drying out or not working well, immediately ask the proctor to replace them. It’s a small step but makes a big difference during the exam.
