Dear GMAT community,
Since I got different information from different sources, I was hoping to get clear information here:
How long does it take for the official GMAT results to come out if you take the GMAT at one of the Test Centers in person? I red that at the beginning of the test, you can choose the university, you want the Test Center to send your results to and that it takes up to 20 days. After the test, you get a preliminary result, but this result is not a legitimate result that can be sent to the targeted university. Also, how strict are the universities regarding the deadlines? The deadline for the application the universities I want to apply for is on the 19th of may. I assume the university requires me to send all relevant documents to apply, including the official GMAT result, within the deadline, right?

Some official info over there you may find helpful.
May be worth reaching out to the university to see whether they may temporarily accept an Unofficial score, which is given immediately shown on the screen after you finish the exam.
