Today I gave my first try at solving a full length paper test. I started with GMAT Paper Test (Code 14) from mba.com.
I skipped AWA in order to finish the rest (both verbal and quant) in 2.5 hours. After two hours I realised that I had a lot more to cover in the remaining 30 mins. Only then I found out that the test had 113 questions in total as against the usual 78.
As per the guidelines mentioned in the paper we are expected to complete all 113 questions in 2.5 hours. This looks very unrealistic to me. Has anyone tried GMAC paper tests and managed to finish all quant and verbal questions in 2.5 hours?
Anyhow, I took more time and completed the test. Got a scaled score of 46 in verbal and 48 in Quant which together convert into a total score of 700 as per the scoring schedule given at the end of the paper.
Out of all the 113 questions, I got 5 incorrect in verbal and 4 in quant. 104 correct answers out of 113 should, I feel, result in a much better score (atleast 730) in real GMAT.
Any thoughts?
PS: Overall complexity of the test was not high
