My brother has paid for my GMAT using his credit card. Do candidates need to present the credit card used before the test? I recently took the IELTS and they did ask for my credit card so I was wondering if GMAC follows the same practice.

Never heard of this practice before. I doubt you need to bring the form of payment with you.

It's unlikely that the individual Testing Facilities even have access to your payment information, so it's highly unlikely that you would be asked for that. Obviously, a valid form of identification will be necessary - and the name on your ID has to be a match for the one that the appointment was made for.
