Heya!

I tried the GMAT Pill when I was preparing for my own GMAT, and it worked for me. You seem worried about whether a given program tells you how to understand a problem, as opposed to simply answering it. Well, the GMAT Pill does exactly that. There's an example video here that you can check out:

If you don't like what you see, then well, no harm done. Kaplan might be able to help you out there, since as I understand it, they offer individual tuition sessions; you'd be able to ask your tutor about exactly what you want to know about. Price is pretty steep, though!
