Hi Everybody,
I joined my classes in June at a local Kaplan center in India. Initially I was sorta excited about the whole GMAT thingy and chose to give the exam on September 17, 2010. The preparation was going alright, when somewhere in August I lost grip of the whole thing and postponed the exam to October 13th. I scored 700 in the first Kaplan CAT which I gave in August and 660 in the second Kaplan CAT in October. These exams are online Kaplan tests which are available only to Kaplan students and I personally felt that they were a bit easier than the OG questions especially in SC and Math. I have done OG 12, Kaplan Premiere guide, Manhattan SC 3rd Edition and lots of problems on Verbal on the Kaplan site.
Due to personal reasons I had rescheduled the exam further to Nov 29, 2010. Now, I seem to have lost the zeal to prepare for the exam and simply find it difficult to sit-down and study. I have bought K800 and the latest edition of Manhattan SC for more practice but they are, as of now, simply accumulating dust in my rack.
There is also a lot of fear inside me when the exam date starts getting closer. I am quite lost and unable to focus to GMAT. I request fellow-members to please share their thoughts if they have also experienced similar bottle necks and how they overcame it.
Thanks,
M
