All-
This is my first post. I consider myself pretty intelligent..I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Degree in Chemical Engineering. I have been working in the IT sector since graduation in 1997. I am attempting to get into Michigan's Ross School of Business (Evening Program). Their GMAT range is 580-730 (not quite as stringent as the full-time day program). I am confident that I can get in with my background, but the GMAT is really freaking me out (I don't want it to be THE thing that gets me rejected). I took the KAPLAN Premier Course Practice CAT a week ago and scored a mere 540. Today, I took the first of the PowerPrep CATs and got a 600. I am hoping for a 650 minimum, but I feel so "down" on myself. Can any of you give me good strategies of how to get better?
I study for about 1-2 hours each day, 40 questions minimum (I have the Kaplan Flash Cards as well). I have been doing this for the past 3 weeks. I plan on taking the GMAT in Late February. I just got the ETS OG 11th edition and will start going through that tomorrow.
In any case, can I get some ideas on practice strategies?
