I'm working through my first series of questions (CR) as part of my GMAT study plan. I'm heading down a path of working through all the example questions in this particular chapter and then I plan to review the answers. My fear, however, is that if I wait too long to review the answers, I will lose the train of thought I had while working a given question. And thus, I'll lose out on any information that may help me understand why I get an answer right or wrong. But my other fear is that if I review an answer after each question, I have to work extra hard to avoid seeing the answers to the other questions as I flip the pages back and forth. So how do you study and why? What works best? Thanks!

For me, I would lose concentration if I waited until the end of the session to review. I would also forget what I was thinking at that particular time. Checking the answer and explanation immediately after each question kept me focused on that specific problem and allowed me to know for sure what my thought process was at the time.

When doing practice problems, I always did them in blocks.
Two reasons:
1. Check my timing on doing multiple problems (average time for a block of problems)
2. Feel the "stress" of back to back problems and force myself to stay on point.
You want to mimic the real test as much as possible even when doing practice problems. This way you're not completely off guard when you hit a bad patch on a practice test or the real thing.
I should also note: I made my own blocks of questions when doing practice problems. Typically between 10-20 problems at a time and review after each block with my error log.
