I wrote a PPrep mock on Saturday and scored 660 (42Q, 39V). I made several stupid mistakes so realize my score could have been even higher. I'll write the second PPrep exam in two weeks before making a final decision when to write. Thanks for the encouragement.

As for the ex, she'd very aware of how disappointed I was  .

An additional question. I have a 2002 copy of the Kaplan Higher Score with 4 mock exams. Has anyone ever used these and are they useful prep tool/indicator?

Blech. I wouldn't bother, honestly. The old Powerpreps and the current GMATprep test are far more useful. I think Rhyme posted a great sticky not long ago about how to re-load and re-install the GMAT Prep test on your computer so that you don't get so many repeat questions when you re-take the exams. Check it out.

Scored 600 on the second PowerPrep :( . I was a bit disappointed as I was averaging 650 (640, 650, 660). That being said, I made at least 4 very stupid mistakes in Q alone .

Have decided to go ahead and write this weekend as I am very quickly losing motivation to study. I know I have the capacity to score 650, I just need to be able to concentrate effectively for +4 hours...
