COS I DINT UNDERSTAND LEAST COMMON DENOMINATOR...

e.g. 1/2 + 1/3 = 3+2/6 here 6 is the least common denominator..

good question.

1) LCD of x/y and 1/3 is 6

x/y can be 1/2 or 1/6 or 2/12 .. insuffcieint
2) x=1
insuffcient y can be any value

combined.
still two solution
x/y =1/2 or 1/6 So insuffcient
