here is a bit different approach:

You know that only 2 out of 4 equations will give you the answer:

the probability to pull 1st is 1/4
the probability of getting 2nd is 1/3
the probability to pull first and second (one after another)=1/4*1/3=1/12
to account for the case there equations switch places, multiply by 2: answer is 1/6
