From 1

3 D 2 > 3 that means D could be the multiplication or the addition operand.

By the way,
(6+2)+4 = 6+(2+4)
and
(6*2)*4 = 6*(4*2)

SUFF.

From 2

3 D 1 = 3 that implies D could be the multiplication or the division operand.

(6*2)*4 = 6*(4*2)

But,
(6/2) / 4 = 3/4 and 6/(4/2) = 6/2 = 3

INSUFF.

It seems to be A. The question eq will be true for multiplication or addition (commutative property)

1. This indicates that the delta is addition or multiplication, since for subtraction and division, this will not be true - sufficient
2. This indicates that the delat can be multiplication or division - insuff.
