Hi all,
I attempted 2nd test of GMAT prep exam pack 1 first time today and found that there were at least 30% questions repeated from the 1st test of exam pack 1. So just to clarify that this was not a repeat test of test#1 , but it was a brand new test. Not sure why there was so much overlap of questions.
Has anybody experienced the same before?

No... and this is very odd. You should not have seen any repeats!

It can happen but only under the following conditions. Let's say you take Exam 3 of Exam Pack 1 two or three times, and let's say you have not touched Exam 4 of Exam Pack 1. Now if you take Exam 4, you will see repeats from the two or three attempts you made with Exam 3. If you only took Exam 3 once, and then take Exam 4, there will not be any overlap between the two tests. I am pretty certain about this.
The main reason for this is that the database of questions that Exam Pack 1 draws from is quite small, about 200 questions in the quant pool shared between the two exams. This is why I recommend taking Exam 3 once, then Exam 4 and be done with Exam Pack 1.

I know GMATPrep is the closest it gets to the real thing, but I was sure I would score 51 in Quant.
