I've heard commonly that it's + or - 30 points on the real test, if you were to consider a range. That said, we arrive at this conclusion after assuming that EVERYTHING else is the same - your mental state, your ability to gauge problems etc, etc.

My prep scores were 750 & 770 and the real thing came out at 760. So I'd say its pretty spot on :-D

My view has always been, don't linger with this stuff, be done with it and move on ... If you feel confident, schedule it for 2 weeks time, you are already in the target range.

After reading tons of forum feedback, I think the two tests that approximate the real GMAT are the GMAT PREP and the MGMAT. Did you do the 2 full essays?
