Very nice question.

Bigger line will divide segment in (0) 0 ,20 ,40 ,60,80 ,100 (1)..total 5 parts (1/5 =20)

Smaller link will divide segmetn in (0) 0 , 14.28,28.57,42.84,57.12,71.4,85.28,100 (1) (1/7 = 14.28)

so we get least distance 42.84 -40 = 2.84

now 1/35 = 0.285
