evidence and evidence that are both correct forms.

In this case, .. the star exploded into view by emitting light... as given in (B). Hence (B)

In other choices, the combination of actions has been incorrectly depicted...

(A) exploding ... emitting

(C) exploding ... emitted

(D) exploding ... emitting

(E) exploded ... emitted

I don't know if I am clear...

So if we write in simple form

B- evidence that a star exploded, emitting radiation..
E- evidence of a star that exploded and that emitted radiation..

What makes B superior to E? I am not able to eliminate E for a strong reason. Perhaps I am missing something..
