Not sure if this is right but since b is constant in both equations... just take that out.
Now you have r/w > w/r.
Replace those with #s... 4/3 > 3/4
This means r will be greater, meaning you have greater chance of picking r.

=> rb -wb +r^2 - w^2 >0
=> (r-w)(b+r+w) > 0 but b+r+w >0
=> r-w>0 => r>w
=> suff
