ok ok.. I know the experts here probably get this question a lot...but I thought I would ask again anyway!
Is it possible to miss 10 questions on the quant and still get a 49? Thats what happened to me on on a GMAT prep test.. I missed the first question...but really got on a role for about 12 questions..
My understanding was that a 49 usually equated to only missing 3 or 4.. thoughts? Thanks!!
Getting a 49 is not necessarily based on the number of incorrect; it might have more to do with the scale of difficulty you see on the test. If you have gotten more of the "higher-difficulty" questions correct, then you can still score a Q49 I believe.
In my tests I have seen 11 wrong to get a Q49 or Q48. So I wouldn't discount that possibility.
