Hello Friends
Today I gave Gmat prep-1 test after preparing for 2.5 months but the score is very disappointing
: 530.
Details:
Final Score: 530
Quantitative Score: 48(78th Percentile)- 37 Questions-13 Incorrect
Verbal Score: 16 (11st Percentile)-41 Questions- 20 Incorrect
I was able to get a better score with the same number of correct questions in other online GMAT practice tests
(MGMAT,Kaplan).
Can any please explain as I am very much confused with the result.

The test is adaptive, meaning as you get questions correct you get more difficult questions, and as you get them wrong you get less difficult questions. A good score means you only miss mostly difficult questions, and a poor score means you miss many easy questions.
You could miss 12 questions that are all 700+ level and score better than if you only miss 10 questions which are all 500 level.

Scoring is one thing. More important is that you actually learn from all those mistakes you made - especially on verbal. It can be a bit intimidating to look at that pile of questions -- take it piece by piece and review along the way.
For example, find out what you did wrong for 3 questions. Then before going onto that 4th, try to redo those 3 questions in random order and see if you can walk through the correct thought process in such a way that you end up with the right answer. Finally, move onto 4, 5, and 6.
Then when you are done with that - randomly pick any question from those 6 and walk through that same thought process. This will help to wire your brain for similar questions in the future.
