So we are sitting at 8th of January 2018, with 3rd deadline roughly a month far and and the 4th about 3 months, just want to know when will be the best time and strategy to take the GMAT test. I am a Chartered accountant and BCOM Hons. by qualification with over 5 years of workex (including regular internships) and have only little knowledge about how GMAT works. I spent about last 20 days going through the Manhattan material and felt like it was manageable with a little hardwork. I am just targetting 3 colleges HEC Paris, EDHEC and ESSEC for msc finance (Will not go in any other college as I have a stable job, its just a dream to study in the best colleges of world nothing else.). Any help shall be really appreciated.
Hi
hardik2991! Thanks for reaching out

The answer to your questions really depends on where you're at now. I'd recommend taking a practice test now to see what your score is. If it's not too far off from a score that you would be happy with, then I'd recommend taking the exam in about a month or so. That way, you'd still have time to retake it if really necessary, and since it sounds like you found the material manageable, a month might be plenty of time to prepare you for the test. On the other hand, if your score is significantly lower than one you'd like, I'd recommend giving yourself a little additional time, and taking the exam in 1.5-2 months. By analyzing the results of your practice test, you will also be able to get a sense of the subject areas that you should focus on during this time

I hope this is helpful! Feel free to share any additional details, once you've taken a practice test, for more specific guidance if you'd like
