Thanks buddy.
I kicked off my studies with the Princeton Review "Cracking the GMAT" book.
Have also bought the OG 11th Edition as well as the OG Verbal and Quantitative guides.
I have purchased the ManhattanGMAT Sentence Correction, after hearing some very good comments and recommendations about it.
I also have the Kaplan 800 book.
I have started with focussing on the Quantitative preparations in my 1st week. My second week will be focussed around the verbal portion.
In the quantitative side I have broken down my prep into the following areas:
Algebra
Arithmetic and Geometric Progressions
Arithmetic Mean, Median, Mode, Deviation
Inequalities
Data Sufficiency
Geometry
Solid Geomoetry: Mensuration, Volume, Area
Number Systems/Theory
Percentages
Permutation and Combination, Probability
Profit & Loss
Quadratic Equations
Ratio, Proportion, Variance
Set Theory
Simple & Compound Interest
Speed, Time, Distance
Work & Time, Pipes & Cisterns
In my first 2 weeks my focus is around covering the questions .. understanding the fundamentals inside out ...rather than trying to answer questions under timed conditions.
I plan to take my first practice test from the Princeton Review at the end of week 2. From then on, I intend to take a test every week. And will start to practice answering questions under time restrictions etc.
Thats the thinking so far ... will see how I get on and then take it from there.
