If x<0, then root of [-x | x |] is

-x
-1
1
x
root(x)

now Root and Modulus of anything is +ve

hence final result is +ve

x is negative hence its A
plug some values like -4,-2 and check yrself

Sqrt(-X * |X|).............................1
Given that X< 0 so |X| = -X
So eq. 1 becomes
Sqrt(-X * -X) = Sqrt(X*X) = |X|.........2
Since its given that X<0 so eq. 2 tells us that |X| is -X.
