Hi
I gave my GMAT yesterday and scored in Quant extremely bad .My verbal was weak but in every mock i gave i never scored below q41 nd q47 was highest .I ' m in dilemma what to do .After 6 months of preparation .I have totally lost everything and disheartened. Please help me if anyone has any strategies to improve on both Qunat and verbal .What i felt i started in section order verbal quant and then ir awa .Can this be reason for low score .Also while doing quant section i was feeling that i m getting easy questions but i never thought that the result would be so bad .I m feeling like killing myself but somehow i have to start again with my prep. The only thing i feel i was rushing through the questions as i found them easy in quant .i have ordered my ESR as i totally clueless .Any suggestion will be helpful .Thanks

Since you were rushing through the questions, you might have missed some tricks and fallen for some pitfalls. Say, if a DS question is an "Easy (C)", it could actually be an (A) or (B). If one is not careful about such pitfalls, one could get stuck in the low score band.
Anyway, I think we should wait for the ESR. It might throw some light. Thereafter, we can work out the strategy for the next attempt. Btw, if the score is much below your target, you can consider cancelling it (within 72 hrs) if you haven't already done so.
