I've come across the following resources, which imo are pretty good:
1.
Manhattan Prep books: there is one chapter in GMAT All the Quant + DI(2024) devoted to DS, or alternatively two chapters in GMAT All the Quant(2019 Edition). Additionally, there are two chapters on advanced DS principles/strategies/tactics in GMAT Advanced Quant (2020 edition or earlier. They somehow took out the two DS chapters from the 2024 edition).
2. Veritas Prep book on Data Sufficiency: this book, published in 2013/14, is out of print, and the company does not exist any more. But it's a very solid book on DS, which people on GMAT Club also recommended a few years back. You might be able to find a pdf on the Internet.
3. GMAT Club's collection on DS articles: In Bunuels
Ultimate GMAT Quantitative Preparation Guide - Focus Edition, if you scroll down to
3. Strategies and Tactics for DS Section in the second post, there are links to around 20 great articles. These articles, while not as organized as a book, cover basically the same key points as the previous two books.
Any one of the above should answer your questions 1 through 3. Hope this helps a bit.
