I didn't do as well as I wanted to on my first GMAT so I'm planning on retaking it, but I just wanted to make sure that the test date is okay and in compliance with the once per 31 day test policy. I took the GMATs on November 16th ...this means that I can do my retakes starting on December 17th, right?
Also, my applications are due on January 10th. Do you think there will be any problems with the score reporting if I take the test on December 17th? It's cutting it pretty close to the deadline if they're sent out 20 days from the test date. I'm assuming it might take a few days to process the scores as well. Has anyone's score taken longer than 20 days to reach their universities?

No you can schedule test from Dec 1st.
The policy is that you can take GMAT only once in a 31 calendar days.
You can take GMAT on Nov 29th and then retake on Dec 2nd.

A while ago the policy was indeed once every calendar month, but they have changed it to be every 31 days only.
That's correct If you took your test at 8 AM on the 16th of November, you can retake it at 8 AM on the 17th of December (that's 31 days, right - my math is correct?)
