What is the significance of sending the gmat score to the five schools. Does it ensure the waiving of the application fee for those schools?

When you take the Official GMAT at a Test Center, as part of your Exam fee, you are given the opportunity to send your Official Score Results to up to 5 Schools. If you do not select Schools at that time and/or want to send your Official Results to additional Schools later on, then you will have to pay a fee to do so (re: a per-School fee). Thus, in real simple terms, selecting 5 Schools to receive those Official Results could potentially save you some money.
