Hi,
I just took the gmat yesterday. I prepared for 1.5 months (self-study) with my work and a leave of 14 days. Used OG,
Manhattan Prep and of course free simulated tests online. Happy with it for now. Following is my profile:
GMAT - 660 (Q45, V35)
Work exp - 1.5 years. Worked with Cedar Management Consulting for a year. Currently within Deloitte Financial Advisory. Worked in Dubai for a short stint as part of a project at Cedar
Education - MSc Financial Econometrics, Uni Essex, UK (Distinction). BA Eco-Stats, St. Xaviers Mumbai, India (First). 12th - 75%. 10th 84%
Age - 25
Female
Nationality - Indian
My main aim for attaining a MBA degree is to get into a top consulting firm. I am also looking at a 1 year MBA program only. I know my work experience is less right now. I am ideally looking at a 2016 entry but with this sort of profile, I just want to know which at which schools would I stand a good chance of getting in. Just studying the market, so to say!
Ideally, when should I be looking to get admission into a b-school? I am thinking of giving GMAT again to get my score above 700 but as of now I am just relieved the exam is over.
