I scored 680 ( Q49 , V 34 ) , in GMAT

I am a hardcore sales and marketing professional with over 7 years experience (No international experience ) ( Non IT and Individual Contribution ), what are my chances of securing a management seat at the top IIMs ,

Hello igtroy123123,

Your years of experience are very much in-line; however, we would like to know more about your achievements - professional and otherwise. Also, considering there is a fair bit of time at hand, we would recommend that you take a shot at improving your GMAT score to a score upwards of 710, at least. 680 will be under the average.

Also, considering there is a fair bit of time at hand, we would recommend that you take a shot at improving your GMAT score to a score upwards of 710, at least. 680 will be under the average.

Academic Achievements : STD 10 and 12 marks : 92 % , Awarded with CSSS MHRD Scholarship ( PAN India Basis ) for excellent academics in 12th Board exam, Plus loads of Certificates State Level and regional level
Undergrad : Mechanical Engineering , Birsa Institute of Technology , Sindri , CGPA 8.1 ( Top 20 of the Batch )
Co curriculars : Member of Rotaract Clubs, Conducted and Managed many Eye Relief camps for free cataract operation of the people of nearby villages , Managed and conducted College's Annual Fest ,

Professional Experience :

Hardcore Sales and Marketing of Construction Materials of a Leading Germany based MNC, Led to Growth of new territories sales wise, Awarded with High Sales achiever award and earned subsequent promotions within the company, Currently looking after a much larger base in Delhi NCR market and Driving the sales and marketing of the products in the same region, whole 7 years of enriching experiences in various facets of sales, customer handling , B2C B2B

While the extra-curricular activities are not stellar, you seem to have had good achievements at work and these can prove to be good talking points. Having said that, please work on improving your GMAT score further, if possible as the same will only better your chances.
