Hi,

I recently completed my GMAT exam and scored 730 in it - Q49 V42 IR5 . I am planning for admissions in Sept 2019 and with that said, only R2 and other subsequent round of admissions are left now. Since acceptance rate in good colleges in these rounds is very thin, does it makes sense to increase score by 20-30 points , thereby increasing the chances of acceptance ?

Please provide insights if any.
Were your GMATPrep scores generally above 730? Working on the other parts of your application is more important at this stage though.

Hi honey23022,

730 with a Q49 is a great score! So, nice work. That being said, before you make any decisions on how to proceed, I agree that you should speak to one of the many admissions consultants here on GMAT Club to get an opinion on your profile with a 730 GMAT score.

If you do decide to retake the GMAT, feel free to reach back out, and I’d be happy to help.
