Hi everyone,

Today I gave my GMAT and got a score of 740 , (Q 49, V 42) which I am delighted with, my IR score is slightly low at 4. I am planning to apply to IMD, Judge (Cambridge), HEC Paris and INSEAD. Can you please let me know whether I should try to explain the low IR Score to these schools ? I think I will get a decent score on my AWA, so I not worried about that.

I do not want to retake the GMAT , but would like to know if the IR can hamper my chances of admission to these schools?

Regards

I doubt that an IR of 4, in itself, will hurt your chance of admissions. Do you have a really compelling explanation for it? If not, I'd just leave it alone and submit your score as is. As for what would count as 'compelling', that would be a good question for an admissions consultant.
