Hi Rich,
Thank you very much for getting back. Really means a lot especially in these moments of despair!
To answer your questions:
1. I started my prep in Sep this year and started every day for 2-3 hours. Weekends were a little longer than that (6/8 hours) and quant to verbal ratio was 80-20. Then came Oct and I got lost in my job (annual budgeting exercise in the middle of the pandemic!) and returned to studying again in Nov - this time the ratio shifted to 60-40 for quant and verbal
2. For prep, I relied majorly on Manhattan Guide for quant, studied all the concepts and did all the mini exercises at the end of each topic. This was supplemented by bunel’s notes here on GMAT Club. For verbal, it was a mix of Manhattan (CR), Maghoosh (SC and CR) and Youtube tutorials by Erica
3. Took my first mock on Kaplan end of Sep and scored a 620 (Q40, V33). Second mock late Oct/early Nov w Varitas and got a 650 (Q47, V32). Third was the first official GMAC mock sometime around mid Nov and scored a 620 (Q45, V30). Then from start of Dec till, let’s say, Dec 12, I took 3 verbal only mocks using GMAT club CATs and scored, 32,39,33 in the order of attempts. Lastly, yesterday, the day before the exam, I took the second official mock and scored a 700 (Q45, V40)
Thank you once again for taking out time. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Usama
