i have 3 doubts regarding gmat score partitioning
Q1
when i gave my mocktest on gmatprep i saw 2 columns scaled score and percentile ....so which of the both is important to see the performance...what is the meaning of scaled score and percentile....?
Q2 what is themeaning of scaled score.....?
Q3 i have heard that gmat works on a performancce algorithm.if i do my initial questions wrong then my standard score level automatically goes down and i ll need to do a lot more questions write to get back to a high level... so i just wanted to ask, is the standard decided seperately for each section or same standard continues to each section.....
i am worried because i need a lot of practice in IR.since i am doing my IR questions wrong right now so does that affects my quant and verbal score calculation algorithm......
i would be glad if any one of you could answer all the three answers.......

The percentile scores in each section and the overall score are more important than the scaled scores in each section .
Your performance is one section affects your score only in that section for example your quant performance has no bearing whatsoever on your verbal performance .
Also the IR section is graded separately on a scale of 1-8 . This score does not affect your main score ( i.e. your score on 800)
