I’m beyond furious. I took the GMAT on January 18th, 2025, followed all the rules, and after a month and a half of delays, GMAC suddenly cancelled my score without any explanation.
At first, they kept dragging the process—pushing deadlines, refusing to give clear answers, and keeping me in limbo. When I appealed, they didn’t provide a single valid reason. Instead, they told me my case could be favorable, making it sound like a fair resolution was possible.
Then, out of nowhere, they sent an email saying my score is cancelled for good, final and binding. No justification. No transparency. Nothing. They just wiped away my efforts and months of preparation without even bothering to explain why.
This is completely unacceptable. How can a so-called "standardized test" operate with such zero accountability and zero due process? If they suspect anything, they should prove it instead of hiding behind vague "testing issues."
GMAC is playing with people’s futures, cancelling scores based on who knows what, while leaving test-takers helpless. This is a disgrace, and I won’t stay silent about it.

I may have already replied to you on a different forum, but you have no choice other than to grin and bear it. GMAC usually has the final word in these matters, so register your protest and move on. Retake quickly and you'll most likely end up with a similar score as your previous attempt.
For others reading this, avoid taking the test at home if you can. It usually goes smoothly, but if things go wrong (like with the OP), there's not much recourse for you.

Wow. That's pretty nutty! That's a long delay.
You took the test online I assume? We have had a few folks report cancelations in the last month. They have suddenly ticked up.
