Hi there,

My scores for the quant and verbal were respectively Q41 and V19.

I have studied for a total of 3months.

I have used the Kaplan study materials.

I am planning on applying to Ryerson. And they would need my official GMAT score by June 2020.

Hi kevinkhan,

Raising a 500 to the point that you can consistently score 650+ will likely require at least another 3 months of consistent, guided study - and you'll have to make significant improvements to how you handle BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections. Thankfully, the GMAT is a consistent, predictable Exam, so you CAN train to score at a higher level. You also appear to have plenty of potential study time before you need to submit your Score, which is good.

Based on your last post, I have a few follow-up questions:

1) On what dates did you take EACH of your practice CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
2) Going forward, how many hours do you think you can consistently study each week?

I can't remember the dates that I completed the CAT/mock exams. But I did complete two of them and I scored 520 and 530 respectively.

As for the amount of study time commitment, I can commit 2 hours every week night and 5 hours on the weekend.

Hi kevinkhan,

GMAC has publicly stated that the Official Score that you earn on Test Day is within +/- 30 points of actual ability. Assuming a similar 'swing' in how your CATs function, your 2 CAT score results - along with your Official Score - show that you essentially performed the same each time (about 510 +/- a few points). You handle certain aspects of the GMAT consistently well, but you also make certain consistent mistakes. Depending on when you took those CATs, you may have been 'stuck' at this score level for some time, meaning that you may have developed some 'bad habits' during your prior studies that will take time to fix (and replace with new 'good habits').

Given all of the information that you have provided, I think that you would find the EMPOWERgmat 3-Month Study Plan to be quite helpful. We have a variety of free resources on our site (www.empowergmat.com), so you can 'test out' the Course before setting up an Account.

If you have any additional questions, then you can feel free to contact me directly.
