Meanwhile running my own startup.

What is the min GMAT score I need to achieve? - worry since my GPA is not >3.5

Might be helpful to check out the GMAT scores of the schools you're interested in as well as the GMAT scores of people who have successfully gotten admitted with similar profiles/backgrounds to yourself.

Hi cornelia96,

First off, a 3.42 GPA is not bad (and likely would NOT be a significant factor in why you might be rejected from a Business School). You are interested in some highly-competitive Schools though - so you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. Those Experts should be able to answer your Admissions questions and help define the specific areas of your profile that could use some improvement. There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

Hi,

Based on our previous admits, a GMAT score of 730 and above is usually required for admission to the M7 programs. However, the GMAT score is not the only criteria for selection. Your extracurricular interests, career goals, motivation for pursuing an MBA, and future potential as an alum all play a big part in the final decision.

Hence, while targeting a high score will definitely help you you should also focus on working on profile building and story construction activities. it will be helpful to discuss your profile with admissions consultants or alumni members of the B-schools to understand your career gaps and how you can overcome them.
