I have been giving gmat since this June I have attempted twice my score is not even coming to mean score, though in mocks I’m scoring above 650 plus
Now I’m thinking take a break and then appear after two months but only challenge is that I will then have to aim for round 3 and 4
Very confused considering most of these colleges would have less seats
Im aiming for instead August 2025 or Colleges in UK for September 2025
Posted from my mobile deviceHi,
chryscapitalcc66Given the disparity between your mock test scores and actual GMAT scores, it's understandable to feel frustrated. Taking a break to refresh and regroup could be beneficial, allowing you to return with a clearer mind and focused strategy. However, aiming for later rounds (Round 3 and 4) does mean competing for fewer seats, which are typically more competitive.
This break will also give you time to simulate the test environment and manage stress better. Meanwhile, start preparing your application materials to be ready for submission once your GMAT score improves. Applying to a mix of schools, including those in the UK with different timelines or rolling admissions, can increase your chances.
