You have not given us much information about what materials you have used for your preparation or the time scale you are looking at before you reappear for your exam.

Hi ,

I have given GMAT and got jus 610 . Q 48 V 25. Please suggest something that i can do in order to get a 700+ score .

Offhand, without any background on where you are and where you want to go, I will give you a tip about Verbal. Get your strategies of CR and RC in line. These two sections are quite objective and you can be reasonably sure of the answer in most cases. Also, in my experience, you can improve a lot in these two sections with some effort. I feel that DS and CR are closer to each other than CR and SC. If you know what you are looking for and watch out for the GMAT traps, you should be able to have an accuracy of 80-90% in these two sections.
Though, in GMAT, SC answers aren't debatable either and they repeatedly focus on a few core areas, still it is based on Grammar. It has more exceptions than rules! It needs more time and practice to show spectacular results. An accuracy of 60-70% in SC will also suffice if your other two areas are very strong.
As for getting exhausted by the time you reach the Verbal section, make sure you take all breaks that you are offered and stuff up on some food during each one of them. That should keep your energy level up. Plus, build your stamina by taking lots of full length practice tests.

Thanks for the tips provided . Also let me give some info regarding the books i had used

OG 11
SC1000
CR1000
The forums for the detailed explanation
Brutal SC
GPSC - this is a set of SC questions i was suggested while i was preparing because i had issues with my SC .

Now i have improved a lot on SC but then i have issues with time.
And i even got a bold faced question as my 37th question . Not sure what it signifies but when i reached there i hardly had any time left so i guessed rest of the questions .

I m planning to give after two months . Actually i have got some deadlines at work because of which i am not able to allot much time everyday . I ensure to do atleast for an hour or two in the morning before i leave . My weakest area is RC . I take a lot of time for RCs . Suggest me some books which i should practice now and also i would like to know which test would be the best to practice .
