GMAT score needed for MMS/MiM? [#permalink]

Hi, thanks so much for your help!

I'm an Ivy '09, humanities major, with so-so work experience (part time jobs after college, plus internships, plus a non-competitive teaching program internationally that complements my major). Great EC's/work in college.

I'm applying in the later rounds this spring (long story), and am looking at LBS and LSE MiM, and Duke MMS.

I'm in a total time crunch and am struggling desperately for advice! Any is very appreciated. Cheers!

Hello hopes33, thanks for your question.

First of all, I have to admit to not being that familiar with LBS MiM and the Duke MMS programs. In terms of LBS, I usually advise that your competitiveness comes down to the quality of your leadership experience in and out of work - “moments” when you truly led: influenced individuals and organizations, drove results, took initiative. If you have “so-so” work experience, try as best as you can to showcase the good things you’ve done.

One caveat: In terms of extracurricular activities, what you’ve done more recently has more weight than what you did in school.

I hope this helps.

Best of luck,
Brian
