Hello All,
Im a new member to this form.
A few hours back I took my GMAT .Scored a low of 590
Quant - 46
Verbal 25
Disapponiting verbal score.
Though I dont have months of prepartation and practice for taking the test,I was banking on the IIM-CAT prepartion done for more than a year now.Well my quant did go well,but verbal is so disppointing.I lost concentation in the verbal section,which has been my nightmare ever since I started pratcitsing the test.
This is indeed very disaapointing.Was hoping to get atleast a 620+ considering my level of prepartaion(less than a month and serious preparation of 10 days)
I wish to do better.But low on confidence now.As I want to apply for the fall admissions ,I dont have enough time on me.
This is a wonderful forum.It did a lot of wonders to my confidence -its common to re take the tests.I wish to score 650+ in the next test.
Please do help me as to how I should go about the English section.

Hello Flower,
There are countless numbers of turnaround stories I've been reading about in these posts. I'm sure with the right practice you could be on your way to a 650+ score. The one thing that all these turnaround success stories have in common is that they key in on their weeknesses and strenthen them.
If you identify which part of the Verbal section is bothering you the most, you can attack it head on by understanding the mistakes you are making and ensuring they don't happen repeatedly.
Hang around the Verbal forum, find your weaknesses and solve more practice problems. You'll be just fine.
