I don't think it matters much either way, but I put the lower one since that's what the school will see.

To late for one app, I already put the higher one b/c I submitted it today. According to the official score report I got in the mail post-test I had a 84%. The only reason I now know I have a 83% is b/c I requested a official score report.

I just don't understand how this works??? I got official results in the mail post test....isn't that what I should put on the apps? I mean the percentiles are always changing.

YihWei, which one :)

I have two officials...one after the test and one I just got in the mail today after I requested extra for a app. That is what is blowing my mind. I have two official score reports, with diff percentiles.

If the percentiles are always changing, then even if I put down the percentiles from the report I got today it could be diff tomorrow.

I think I'm going to put down the percentiles from my official score report from when I took the test, not what they are now. It is the higher one, and I have a official score report to prove it. The % are always changing so I guess it really doesn't matter.

I haven't looking in quite a while, but I believe the disclosure included with the GMAT score report says that your percentile score will be calculated based the period ending (2 or 3 years, don't remember) on the date of the report. So, the scores used to calculate the percentile will change according to when it is produced. So yes, it could be different tomorrow and many have seen small changes between the report given on the day of the test and when the receive the official report several weeks later.

Yeah, as long as you have the paperwork to back it up, just put down the higher percentile. I've always gone with the official score report I received in the mail after taking my test.

I agree - go with the higher one. Schools are definitely aware that the percentiles change over time and I doubt this will make much of a difference to any of them.
