So I was taking a GMAT exam today, calm and relaxed, and the server went down after the quant section... I was not able to log back in to the exam for around 15 mins so basically my 15 mins of verbal section was gone. My supervisor called the Pearson and then told me to just take the exam. This means I only had 60 mins for Verbal.. Of course I refused to do so, and I am waiting to hear back from GMAT about this incident.. I am so frustrated about this, I was not expecting this at all. I studied and prepared so hard for the past two months and this happened on my exam day. Has anyone experienced this kind of problem before?
That you refused to continue might actually work in your favor. A delay of 15 minutes is well within their operational tolerances, and they would have been justified in not offering a retake if you had gone ahead (and if they had "extended" your verbal section).
When you say you're waiting for Pearson to get back to you, you do mean that you've reached out to them yourself, right?
