hey guys,
needless to say - i'm a newbie here! been scouring several GMAT forums - in the hope of finding a 'reference study plan' that I could base my own plan on - but with little luck so far!
so here's my status as of now:
Preparation: Zilch
Planning: Zilch
Test: Booked! 13th Dec '06 (9am) is my G-DAY!
So that leaves me with about 10 weeks in hand! i don't know if its enough time, but i know i have to make sure it is!
I am hoping some of you kind souls could share your study plans - esp. folks who've had a 10-week study plan - that I could use as reference. Or if some veterans could give some pointers on how best to utilize the time I have - it'd certainly be a great help.
I can commit upto 2 hrs daily (2 x 5) + 5 hrs each day on the weekend (5 x 2) - for a total of 20 hrs / week. And am gonna make a bold target of 780 for the GMAT (aim for the sky, you get the clouds ).
Any help/pointers - of even if you could just point me to prior posts on GMAT study plans - it'd be a great help!

Here is my opnion.
I am glad to hear that you have scheduled the test, and I think the 780 is a great target. However, do not get discouraged after your first GMATPrep test.
1.- Take the GMATPrep Test I
2.- Establish a framework for each type of problem - I used Kaplan (ie picking numbers)
3.- Work the OG
4.- Complete as many test as possible (Kaplan, PR, etc) plenty of free test out there
5.- Take the GMATPrep Test II
The GMATPrep contains questions from the OG. As far as a ten week plan, it really depends on your improvement.
