hi 
I'm preparing for the GMAT for the past 4 months and I'm not been able to score well enough. my desired score is somewhere between 640 to 670 and in the Feb end I'm going to give the exam but till now I have not been able to go above 500 on my mocks and I don't know what to do now so any GMAT expert or any other student who has given GMAT and was able to achieve his desired score can you please tell me what strategies should I apply so that I can reach to that level and I have only a few days left and no one is there to guide me so can anybody please help ??

what all study material have you been using ? have you completed OG for verbal ?
have you been maintaining an error log?
for mocks what all tests have you given and are planning to give?

Working with concepts and attempting easy and medium OG questions might be a good idea for you. Could you please mention your quant and verbal splits in the mocks?

If you're planning to take the Official GMAT by the end of February, then you have less than 4 weeks of potential study time remaining. Unfortunately, the goal of raising a 500 to a 640+ in such a short timeframe is probably too difficult to be considered realistic. Considering the amount of study time that you have put in already, it's understandable that you would want to be done with the GMAT soon, but if you ultimately "need" a 640+ to get into your first-choice School, then THAT Score Goal has to come first - and you need to give yourself the proper additional study time to achieve it.

Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) Over the last 4 months, how many hours did you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

The key to scoring well on GMAT is to focusing on the right aspects. If your score doesn't improve even after months of prep, then that means that there's something wrong with the preparation strategy. First let us understand the right way to prepare for GMAT.

How to prepare for GMAT in the right way?  
Before you start preparing for any test, it's important to understand the structure of the test, what is tested on it and then prepare accordingly. In this case, GMAT is a test which focuses on your application skills along with the conceptual knowledge. So, just learning the concepts and practicing questions without focusing on the right methodology will not do any good. So, I suggest you to first focus on the methodology to solve questions of a particular topic and only then move to practicing questions of that topic.

So, the right way to prepare would be to first

learn the concepts of a topic,  
 learn the right methodology to solve questions of that topic 
 practice a few questions of that topic to solidify your learning and then move to the nest topic 
 Repeat the process for all the topics

And working on weak areas is equally important. You move to the next topic only if you get a decent accuracy in the previous topic. If not, you revisit the concepts, fill the conceptual gaps and then move to the next topic only when you are 100% confident. There are a couple of articles which you might find helpful.
