Re: GMAT struggle [#permalink]
Hi Rich,

thanks for your reply! I really appreciate it!

1) The score was a my second official practice exam
2) I started to familiarize myself with the gmat mid August and had 2 weeks of holidays in between (I know, pretty stupid)
Since the first of september I am studying 4-5 hours a day (but got sick over the weekend and stopped for 2 days now)
3) I bought the GMAT official bundle from mba. com and did the 2 practice exams there (I intend to buy the other 4)
4) The first was 07/26/2023 and 470 and Q30 V25 IR7
The second was 09/09/2023 and 500 Q32 V27 IR2 (The day I got sick, so I could have done definitely better especially on IR)
5) I want to start in 2024
Preferred schools (Europe): ESCP or HSG they are taking the GMAT into account with 20% so 650 would be enough (if somehow possible LBS, HEC, LSE; )

Hi JuliusM,

Many GMATers spend 3 months (or more) of consistent study time before they hit their 'peak' scores, so if you have been studying for just a few weeks, then you should not expect to have mastered any of the content or Tactics just yet. By extension, you will likely need more than another 3 weeks of training time before you will be able to consistently score 650+.

Since you have a specific list of Schools that you are interested in (including some highly-competitive ones), you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. Those Experts should be able to answer your Admissions questions and help define the specific areas of your profile that could use some improvement (and the more time that you have to implement those suggestions, the better). There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

https://gmatclub.com/forum/ask-admissio ... tants-124/

I've also sent you a PM with some notes and additional questions.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
