Hi,
I have Manhattan GMAT 5th Edition and OG Guide 13.
For critical reasoning I am using Powerscore Bible.
Do i need to upgrade to 6th Edition for Manhatten Gmat 6th Edition?
I am thinking about purchasing latest Official Guide once i finish up manhatten books. Please suggest.

The GMAT has been testing almost the same concepts, so there will not be much of a difference between the guides. However as Rich said, a Manhattan representative will be the best person to ask.

Since you are following a book heavy approach, it would be better if you followed a study plan.
You can get one here: gmat-study-plan-how-to-start-your-gmat-prep-80727.html?fl=menu.
Apart from the guides that you have, I would suggest you to buy the Verbal Review, Question pack1 and Exam pack 1 to practise more from the official sources.

It might not be a good idea to wait till the end of the month to take the first mock CAT.
The sooner you take the first CAT, the sooner you understand the sections and topics you need to focus on in your preparation.

Hi IDreamOfMBA,

Taking FULL-LENGTH CATs (including the Essay and IR sections) on a regular basis (1 FULL CAT every 1-2 weeks) should be a part of your overall Study Plan. Since you've been studying for at least a couple of weeks, you should plan to take your first CAT soon (maybe this weekend) and NOT wait until the end of March to do so. That initial score is important - it will help to define your natural test-taking skills and your current strengths and weaknesses. Once you have that score result, you should post back here and we can talk about your study options.
