GMAT Test centre cannot deliver test

Question

Hi All,

I had booked a slot for 10th September'23 for taking my GMAT, which now has sort of been cancelled. I have received 2 mails from Pearson VUE that state -

"Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver your exam as scheduled on 10 Sep 2023 1:00 PM. We know this is disappointing news, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience."

I'm not sure what to do now. There are no slots available in Sept (for other centres) and whichever are available are for the 8am slots. Feel quite disheartened, can someone guide me on how i should proceed?

If you really need to take the test soon, you might want to look into taking the GMAT at home.

I fear internet disconnection and technical glitches in this format. Are the rules really strict for GMAT online ?

That's a legitimate concern. Do you have a relative/friend who might have a reliable connection?

If you ultimately decide to take it in-person for one of the 8 am slots, try to adjust your schedule so you peak during that time. Seeing whether you can get some time off work or a reduced workload could also be helpful.
