After reviewing my incorrects for my sectional I took earlier today, they were spread across many diff topics (no two topics), so it’s hard to figure out what to do targeted practice on :(
That’s the usual situation. A test only has 1-2 topics per type. So with a test you will always have this issue. You have to zoom out. You can also drill down into WHY you made the mistake and that wil be only 2-3 categories.

For sure, also I like how the questions are from diff topics since usually if I continuously answer one topic at a time, I start to recognize the pattern easier but this way I need to think more

Hi all
Just wanted to seek clarification regarding the GMAT retake waiting period.

If I take the GMAT exam on 7 January, could anyone please confirm the earliest eligible date on which I can schedule my next attempt, considering the policy that requires a minimum 16-day gap between GMAT attempts?

Specifically, I would like to confirm whether the earliest permissible retake date would be 23 January or 24 January, based on GMAC’s method of counting the 16-day waiting period.

23rd. You can also go into the system and try to schedule another appointment if you already have scheduled the one on the seventh. And the system for scheduling the exam exams will show you the soonest available date

They keep the same questions for 15-16 days and change them twice a month so let’s assume they change the questions on the first and on the 16th day (morning of the st and morning of the 16th) so if you took the test on the 1st, the soonest you can retake is the 16th when the new question bank will be loaded and if you took the test on the 16th, the soonest you can take the test again is the 1st of next month even with 31 days which will be the time that the next question bank is loaded.

Hi all,

anyone who has used official mocks during prep and given actual exam, did you find either of it easier or harder?

Also, any insights/suggestions on picking section order.

Generally DI a bit harder than official mocks and quant to some extent if targeting 85+ as official exam database in terms of hard level questions are limited I.e 20-25% ,whereas this is not in the case of official exam database .See youdont need to focus more on this ,your concern is to make sure that you solve easy to medium questions with 90pc accuracy within time limits and if possible solve first ten questions correct and after that you can do mistakes at intermediate levels.

Mock 1: 675 (Q81; V84; DI85)
Mock 2: 675 (Q80; V86; DI84)
Mock 3: 645 (Q84; V87; DI74)
Mock 1 retake: 685 (Q81; V85; DI86)
Mock 4: 695 (Q81; V89; DI83)
Mock 2 retake 755 (Q88; V87; DI87)

These have been my attempts in official mocks (last one mock 2 retake seemed too easy so I wouldn’t say that’s my actual standing). Aiming for 715+. Need tips as my mock scores have varied quite a lot and am struggling with hitting 85+ on Quant
