Verbal is quite the same
Quant is bit tough
DI is tough
Which are nearest level mocks?

A quick question to all those who have given the exam atleast once.

How is the level of difficult on actual day when compared to GMAC provided mocks?
GMAC tests are very much the same.
GMAT club tests are a bit more difficult than actual.

You felt all the sections at the same level ?
Yes more or less.
You'll get -/+20 points in your main exam max from your GMAC mocks.

Try to take the test very diligently, mimic the test day, including the test time eg, give the mock at 9am, if you're giving your exam at 9a.

How many mocks is everyone giving? 20-30?
I have probably taken around 10-15 ... I feel after a certain number it’s a declining value to take additional practice tests. Each takes a couple hours plus you need time to review so it’s a big time investment. ....

There are some skills that you want to learn to practice tests but I don’t feel you need that many of full complete tests. You can take sectional test which are good keeping you engaged in case you finished quantum and moved onto verbal for example but full tests are Expensive in time ... you can get a lot more value to improve your score by learning concepts or practicing very specific questions rather than have the unpredictability of the full test but it works differently for different people so if you feel your score is improving by taking full test, then take as many as you need

Specifically data sufficiency
Data sufficiency has become a much wider topic and subject since you have math related and non-related questions so I wouldn’t generalize.

I would look at your performance and just using your gut feel, figure out which type of data sufficiency questions you are can see the most improvement.

A) worth problems math related (classic quant)
B) yes/no questions (any type)
C) non-math related war problems (logic and annoying types)
D) other / else (something I’m not thinking about)

Once you identify, then the strategies to tackle each specific one but there’s no strategy to tackle them all at the same time. Just like any complex problem, you have to split it into manageable pieces to systematically progress.

90% of my wrong answers in DI are data sufficiency
Check out a bunch of Data sufficiency videos (GMAT ninja was good) then practice from 1) GMAT official books. 2) GMAT club question bank.

Narrow it down to specific questions. DS as a whole is a big space.

It’s like going to a doctor and saying something hurts somewhere in my body but I don’t know where. Fix it fix it.... They will waste a lot of time prescribing new medications that you may not need for diseases you do not have so unless you can help people diagnose your problems, you should prepare to follow lots of useless advice. 😂
