Hey guys,
I've been looking around the forums and the internet and I haven't been able to find any definitive answers to some of these questions.
I asked the officials at my city's Pearson Testing Center, and they provided me with the following information:
Time after 8-minute break to go through Quant instructions: 1 minute
Time after 8-minute break to go through Verbal instructions: 1 minute
During the 8-minute breaks, writing on the notepads is NOT ALLOWED. Apparently this is considered to be "brain-dumping".
Any pre-section notepad preparation can only be done during the 1 minute time allotted to instruction overview.
Another very minor thing that I was concerned about is markers: Yes, you may ask for two markers.
